the one with the cost . my past two posts showed what the cost of fashion is environmentally and socially. seeing that fashion comes with great cost, one should begin to question their shopping habits. . does your shopping habit cost the earth? ask yourself these questions: ❓do i shop for new clothes at least 1 a month? ❓do i get lured to buying fast fashion brands especially when they are on sale? ❓do the brands i support pay fair wages to the their tailors? ❓do the brands i support properly source their fibers/textiles? . ask yourselves these questions and make changes if need be; because FASHION SHOULDN’T COST OUR HOME.

the one where i want to know . WHO MADE MY CLOTHES, @uniqlo ? . yesterday, i shared what it takes, environmentally, to make 1 cotton shirt. today, i ask WHO MADE THEM? fast fashion brands are nortorious for not treating their workers ethically. from working conditions, to their pay. . this scenario is also seen here in the philippines. we consumers need to demand answers and equal & right pay and right working conditions. . i am sharing a screen capture in my stories of the letter you can tag some brands in asking #whomademyclothes .

the one with the earthquake . i am shaken by what just happened a few hours ago. before this long story, we are all safe, mark + i + paul + ringo + lenon. . i live on the 36th floor of a condo and with the magnitude of over 5, i definitely felt EVERYTHING around me shaking. i didn’t go to work today as i am having the worst period. everything happened so fast! grabbed my bag, put on shorts, locked the door, and ran down the 36 flights of stairs in mark’s huge slippers. everyone left the condo safe, no accidents. . this experience has left me shaking. i need to be more prepared with an emergency bag for me and for my babes. . earth day indeed. hope everyone is safe!
