the one with the fresh basil . ahhh, nothing beats freshly picked basil from your own garden! having my own space has opened more and more areas of growth for me. care for the plants, water the plants, and make sure the cats don’t eat the plants [haha]. . i need more herbs! any good herb suggestions that one should have in their own garden? . ps. we made pesto pasta with these beauties. well, mark made them.

the one with the sewing . look, we have proper curtains! i have finally learned how to sew using the machine. for months now i have been tackling the sewing machine and always ending up defeated. last sunday, i went on and did it-with care and patience. . since moving in, our curtain was a basic katsa placed on the curtain rod. now, we have beautiful curtains. [i was seriously overjoyed] i double sewed it. not with the most perfect seams but it looks so beautiful! what do you think? . ps. my dad and dad’s parents are very talented tailors! they would sew suits to backpacks. they’re amazing! i wish that i started learning how to sew at a very young age, but it’s never too late. will tackle more sewing projects soon. . katsa - used some katsa from my mom’s collection rod - from the unit when we moved in

the one with the footprints . when you go to vacations, what do you leave behind? a plastic bottle? candy wrappers? tissue? wet wipes? . please be mindful of all the living creatures which live there. your small convenience may cause their death. . when we went to buntod reef in masbate, we were lucky to have spent our morning with only a few people in the island. because it was low tide, a huge part of the island was visible. when we drifted to that area, all i saw in the sand was the footprints of a bird. it was great seeing that they had so much freedom in just roaming around the island. . 🦶🏼
