The past few months have been quite challenging when it comes to my wardrobe. I’ve never had this few clothes, ever. Coming from a year of no shopping for new clothes, I am honestly finding it hard to love the clothes that I am currently left with. Along with that, I have done a massive purge late last year, definitely leaving me with fewer pieces. Another factor is my changing style, more like finding out what style I actually love.
I decided to do an “ukay-ukay” shop at Makati Cinema Square with a goal to find blouses/polo’s in neutral colors and some jeans.
Always make a list before going shopping, whether it be for clothes, groceries, or anything. It can be prior to your shopping day or months before. This is to avoid over shopping/spending for “good” things which you do not actually need.
I find that Makati Cinema Square is by far the best place to thrift clothes. Great prices [especially when they are on sale] and great finds! My haul ranged from 25php – 150php.
Below are each of my thrift finds with corresponding information below each photograph.
Shop with caution and intention. Always, always ask yourself: DO YOU REALLY NEED MORE CLOTHES? IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO WITH THE CLOTHES YOU ALREADY OWN? IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AVAILABLE AT THRIFT STORES?
