Plastic straws. I see it everywhere. You use it in your flavored drinks, soft drinks, milk teas, frappes, blended beverages, etc. Then after their one-time use, we dispose of them. An alternative to just stop using plastic straws (if you can’t, just like me) is to buy one that is reusable. Which I DID! I bought a set of stainless steel straws for my straw-using pleasure.

How and where did I get one?

I ordered my set of straws from Sip PH‘s website. Sip PH is one of the the first local company which provides reusable stainless steel straws (KUDOS!).

Review

It is so easy to use! How hard can it be anyway? It is easy to wash too, no rocket science involved. It’s just such a great feeling to know that I prevented another piece of straw from harming any sea creatures.

It all boils down to these two things: 1. buy your own steel straw for you to be able to re-use it; 2. actually re-use it! make the decisive decision every time to not ask for a plastic straw and instead use your own.

Next time someone offers you a plastic straw, remember this turtle:

What you can do!

I highly encourage straw-lovers to purchase your own personal set. It is a step towards (as cliché as it sounds) saving our planet, saving the sea-creatures, and saving the future generation.

Hello there, Phoebe here. I have always wanted a platform wherein I can express myself therefore, I have decided to start this blog. I am a young adult living in the Philippines who wants to share her finds, adventures, passions, opinions and art to the world whilst fulfilling her dreams and purpose. Amidst all of this, I have chosen to document my journey into minimalism and living an environmentally conscious life.
